Position Summary
 
 
The receptionist at LMCMS ensures all individuals in services are checked into the program effectively. As a member of the LMCMS team  communication is key to resolve all service-delivery related issues. The receptionist functions as a key stakeholder and reference source, sharing information between programs.  Hours include Monday-Thursday 4:30-8 or 9 depending on location and Saturdays from 8:30-2pm.
 
Essential Duties and Functions
Program Support
  • Assist the Leadership team in the training of new staff where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Leadership regarding adherence to new hire procedures, including training and documentation.
  • Answer multi-line phone system.
  • Direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule client appointments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Review insurance information at each Outpatient visit for every client, scan insurance card into system and notify Admin Coordinator of any discrepancies.
  • Take necessary co-pays and document appropriately in the EHR.
  • Use doc connect program to schedule, confirm and document appointments accurately in EHR system.
  • Keep reception area and lobby neat.
  • Refill printer with paper each day.
  • Copy, fax, scan needed data.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Appropriately represent RHD while communicating with in individuals in services, staff, contractors, and funders.
  • Exercise appropriate discretion when receiving sensitive information about individuals in services and/or staff.
  • Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with the values of RHD.
  • Participate in relevant meetings as requested by supervisor and/or director.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma.
Previous experience preferred in customer service.
