Job Description

Position Summary
The Corporate Senior Financial Analyst (CSFA) will be responsible for financial budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.  The CSFA will provide the analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvements in financial and operational performance and will assist in implementing processes to drive operational efficiencies.

Essential Duties and Functions

  • Prepares annual corporate budget and quarterly forecast, including the gathering of necessary data, development of supporting models, collaborating with business partners to develop assumptions and drive targets.
  • Reviews the analysis of current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, labor and operating expenses
  • Monitors divisional financial results, makes inquiries, and provides further analysis as determined necessary
  • Coordinates the data gathering for Key Performance Indicator Reporting Provides monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Develops and maintains budgeting, forecasting, and business intelligence software applications including the ability to back up the Corporate Financial Analyst.
  • Back up to maintaining the data integrity of Tagetik system. Develop reports and support divisional DFO's, EVP's, Analyst and the Shared service groups related to Tagetik.
  • Coordinates the preparation and development of the annual capital budget, reviews periodically the monitoring of the approved budget, related requests and reporting.
  • Supports Directors of Finance and Operations and other divisional staff as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, collaboration and conflict management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Provide staff development and training including establishing goals and objectives for each year and monitor the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
  • Participate in the hiring of department financial staff within shared services, as well as other financial positions in the organization
  • Assist with or provides training in all areas of responsibility to all users and/or customers, including the creation and maintenance of training materials
  • Customer service to other departments and RHD programs
